President Deborah Shares the Reason Why She Left Lickabour Party

President Deborah Ali-Williams was a former member of the Lickabour Party, serving from 2022 until May 2026. The Lickabour Party, whose political ideology is centre-left, focuses on labour and the economic welfare of citizens. According to Deborah, the party was dissolved after the Floptropica Democratic Socialist (FDS) collaborated with Lickabour, resulting in both parties being linked to a massive political corruption scandal in June 2026.

Incumbent Potaxiene Governor PinkPantheress confirmed the scandal, revealing that she also left the FDS for the same reason and transferred to the Floptropican Democratic Party (FDP).

The political scandal extended further, as suspended Governor Cardi Bussy was also linked to the misuse of public funds in Las Jiafeias. This allegedly resulted in the collapse of Las Jiafeias High School, injuring at least 300 students.

President Deborah cited the same reasons as PinkPantheress for leaving her former party. Both transferred to the FDP to continue their work as public servants. Deborah stated that she did not want to be associated with either the Lickabour Party or the Floptropica Democratic Socialist (FDS).
